Many people opt for charities to be supported in their name. Bolton Wanderers in the Community is a charity with inspiring and selfless staff who help people at need in our community. Please choose a project to support in the name of your lost loved one. Those who receive help receive a link to the profile of the person whose memory inspired the donation.
We donate sports kits which are distributed through schools in disadvantaged areas
£130 will support two of our disability football sessions to take place, giving children and adults the opportunity to take part in football where otherwise they wouldn’t be able to.
£500 will provide a volunteer opportunity for a young person with a 6-month placement which will include gaining qualifications, a uniform, and a specific mentor-coach to support their personal development.
£100 will pay for the disability football team to enter their league and play competitive matches against other disability teams.
£40 will allow our staff to distribute free meals for up to 35 young people at our Looked After Children’s youth club.
£1000 will support our Sporting Memories session for the whole year, helping to tackle isolation, loneliness, and dementia in older people through reminiscing around football and Bolton Wanderers.
Football is more than a game and Bolton Wanderers is more than a football club. We are measured by the value we add to others. The people in our community all appreciate your support. It’s a noble way to remember someone who loved the community as much as we do.
Which legacy would they have wanted?
